Hello!, actually I think that a strike is unfavourable for us, first because for the institution the fact that we loose class isn`t a real pression method and second, because our classes and exams get delayed.
Also I think that the motives for the strike weren`t clear and everyones strike for different reasons, nobody have a real view of the actual situation of our University.

Assignment 5: Summary writing: Cure for autism?
Our assignment consist on write a summary of an article releated whit our proffesion
The article “Autism symptoms reversed in lab” published by BBC in 27 June 2007, reveals how Us scientists reversed, for the first time, sympoms of mental retardation and autism in laboratory mice.
This discovery was made by The Massachusetts Institute of Technology by creating mice that showed symptoms of Fragile X Syndrome (main cause of mental retardation and autism in humans).
Once symptoms appeared they reversed. This was possible by inhibiting the action of an enzyme (PAK protein) in the brain reversing symptoms.
This research has a huge significance for people treatment, becuse suggests that PAK inhibitors could be used for therapeutic purposes to reverse already established mental impairments in fragile X children.
